Chinese New Year

Chinese New Year is coming...... 

The traditional decorations are usually in red and gold colors 

like Red pockets,  Fire crackers, Spring Festival couplets......

I also like Chinese New Year's flowers 
such as Daffodil and Peach Blossom.

This year is a bit special for my home's decorations more than above,

because my little sister had made the following beads ornaments.

Oval shape pieces

Once started to write this blog, so many ideas emerged in my mind.

Today, I found a necklace of Agatha brand in Elle magazine published by Hong Kong.  The pendent was made by shiny silver oval pieces and matched with a silver round.  It's truely a Christmas style promotion . My reading inspires me a lot.

In past summer 2009, I had also made a pair of colourful earrings namely "Summer Colors"

It is a dazzling design of earrings for summer every day outfit. The earrings feature with colorful oval shape seashell dangles, imitation pearls, cat-eye beads and metal flower rings on the antique gold chains. “Summer colors” brings a beautiful shine for ladies. 

My favourite bracelets

Do you like using beads to making jewellery?  Remember this style is my first time to use gemstones and beads making jewellery. 

"Fruit Tree" – smooth agates in multi-blended colors are like luscious peaches. Agates and lime beads were skillfully and sophistically linked together by 2 mm nylon threads. A Japan golden snap clasp gives grand and elegant touch for the bracelet.  I always wear Fruit Tree in summer, because it is gorgeous and comfortable.

For winter, I had changed to cool colors for the custom order of my friend.

"Grape" – Dark purple natural stones are like the juicy grapes and feature with shiny silver sands inside stones. Actually, the original sample is more sparkling and beautiful than the photo. Grape stones and small beads were skillfully and sophistically linked together by 2 mm nylon threads. A Japan snap clasp gives grand and elegant touch for the bracelet.

Christmas colors

They are lovely buttons and ribbons I collected in my recycled box. Some buttons are special that I like most. They are satin fabric or knitted fabric wrapped mushroom buttons. The colors of three button brooches are mixed and matched. How do you think? Each button, bead or part is sophistically sewn by fish threads on tiny holes of round metal plate with a pin on back.

      Elegant Roses earrings

Pearl Roses – Beautiful roses were rolled in blond ribbons and were skillfully sewn by hand. Fresh water pearls and Swarovski crystal round hanging on roses gives you grand and elegant touch for special event.

 Golden Roses – Beautiful roses were rolled in striped ribbons and were skillfully sewn by hand. Blond rounds are hanged down by a fine gold chain. It is a grand and elegant style for special event.

 

 Charming Chrysanthemum necklace

Flower necklace – This necklace features with the charming pink flower pendent, which is actually a detachable brooch. The pink organza petals were skillfully sewn with pearls, crystals, cat eye beads, tiny gold ball chain at the central flower stamen. Adorable shell rounds in natural colors and small pearls were linked to make a comfortable and smooth necklace. This is fashion design for smart causal dress code.

            Lovely Floret earrings

This is a little story – the lovely little flowers were made by lilac Czech teardrops and violet crystal for Swarovaki. Colored matched shell rounds, plastic and glass beads were hanged down the flowers. Little story is beautiful for young ladies’ every day outfit.

This precious jewelry was made by different beautiful stones such as fresh water pearls, Topaz, Amber, Agate, Swavoski crystal...... I love to put on my suit or dress for banquet.



For the lovely leaves, they were made by hammering so many tiny beads that was really time consuming.
